Mark has over 30 years of private practice experience treating sporting and non-sporting musculoskeletal injuries. Mark also has a special interest in sports and fitness having completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy.
Mark is still based in Kew after having worked for 15 years at the Kew Recreation Centre as a sole private practitioner. Mark has worked at the elite level, with 25 years' experience as an AFL Team Physiotherapist. He has worked with both:
- Carlton Football Club (1998 - 2006)
- Fremantle Football Club (2007 - Current)
Mark aims to provide physiotherapy expertise for all ages and physical/sporting abilities by offering:
- Assessment and treatment of low back and neck pain, postural/spinal alignment, muscle and joint injuries.
- Manual 'hands on' physiotherapy - i.e. mobilisation of joints and soft tissue techniques.
- The latest treatment techniques including Muscle Energy Principles
- Exercise prescription for rehabilitation and prevention of injury working in conjunction with fitness instructors and other health professionals.
- Taping/splinting to protect joints and injured tissues.
