Mark Liszukiewicz Physiotherapist
Mark has over 30 years of private practice experience treating sporting and non-sporting musculoskeletal injuries. Mark also has a special interest in sports and fitness having completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy.
Mark is still based in Kew after having worked for 15 years at the Kew Recreation Centre as a sole private practitioner. Mark has worked at the elite level, with 28 years' experience as an AFL Team Physiotherapist. He has worked with both:
- Carlton Football Club (1998 - 2006)
- Fremantle Football Club (2007 - Current)
Mark aims to provide physiotherapy expertise for all ages and physical/sporting abilities by offering:
- Assessment and treatment of low back and neck pain, postural/spinal alignment, muscle and joint injuries.
- Manual 'hands on' physiotherapy - i.e. mobilisation of joints and soft tissue techniques.
- The latest treatment techniques including Muscle Energy Principles
- Exercise prescription for rehabilitation and prevention of injury working in conjunction with fitness instructors and other health professionals.
- Taping/splinting to protect joints and injured tissues.
Mark's Services
Initial Consultation $140
45-60 minute consultation for new patients who have not previously seen Mark. Full assessment (including taking social/sporting/medical history) and treatment of current complaint/condition/injury.
Standard Consultation $115
30 minute subsequent consultation/treatment for past patients, whether it be for a follow-up of a current or new complaint/condition/injury.
BUPA Preferred Provider Consultations
Please note that as of the 31st of March 2025, Mark has chosen not to be a Members first Bupa provider, so the normal rates will apply (see above).
Payment is required at time of consultation
Mark offers HICAPS for patients with private health insurance.
Credit card, EFTPOS and cash are accepted
